How Stereo Measurement Works?

There many advantage that articulating video borescopes offer.
Most NDT applications have small, limited entrance that open into a much larger space. That is why having an articulating borescope is good for completing internal inspection without missing dead corner.
However, not all applications require articulation. Some inspection applications have narrow diameters through the whole internal chambers, leaving little to no room for articulation. The most common of these applications is a gun barrel inspection, where a straight probe would be a more capable tool (even cost effective tool) to finish the job.
When using remote video borescope to internal cracks, articulation is vital to guaranteeing that the full internal surface area is carefully examined.
Like riding a scooter without being able to swing your head right to left, to head down and check your speed meter, or up to mind traffic signs.
